You don’t have to wait until Monday, October 31 to celebrate Halloween around your homes in New Bern NC community. Here are a couple of Halloween events happening in New Bern.
The 26th annual Ghostwalk 2016: “Whispers From the Past” throughout New Bern’s historic downtown district. This Halloween event, presented by the New Bern Historical Society, kicks-off Thursday, October 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will run Friday, October 28 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. until Saturday, October 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Bring the entire family out to visit spooky places at Cedar Grove Cemetery and in historic businesses, churches, and homes. You’ll also have the opportunity to encounter spirits of New Bern who will share their stories with you, and see spirited performances at the historic Athens and Masonic Theatres. Advanced tickets are now on sale for $16 per person. You can also purchase tickets on the days of the event. Those will be $22 per person, $11 per person for active military and military dependents, $10 for students with a valid I.D., and $5 per person for children ages three to 12. Children under three are free.
The second Halloween event is All Hallow’s Eve that will take place at Tryon Palace in downtown New Bern (529 South Front Street) will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kid’s ages 12 and under and invited to come dressed in their adorable or scary costumes to see ghosts, ghouls, and witches. The kids can trick-or-treat as well as do crafts, play games, and hear spooky stores,
